Hi! I’m Nella, and I run The Bookstore — a cozy, one-person shop nestled in Durham, Ontario. What started as a love for books has grown into a little haven for readers, collectors, and anyone who enjoys the magic of a good story or a meaningful find.


At The Bookstore, you’ll find a mix of new and secondhand books, crystals, tarot cards, comics, jewelry, figurines, incense, wall art, and other thoughtful items that add a bit of personality (and sometimes mystery) to your space. Every item is hand-picked with care — whether it’s a rare book, a crystal with just the right energy, or a nostalgic tin sign that sparks a smile.


I believe in running a shop that feels human. No giant warehouse, no call centre — just me, doing my best to pack your order with care, answer your questions, and share what I love with people near and far.
