Description

A History and Souvenir Cook Book compiled by the Woman's Auxiliary of Holy Trinity Church, Little Current. Pages 3 to 36 are filled with historical information about indigenous people, settlers, adventurers, and the land including black and white images, and photographic reproductions of the agreements made at Manitowauning in 1836 setting aside Manitoulin Island and contiguous territory for the Indians. Pages 43 to 184 are the 'Favourite Recipes compiled by the Woman's Auxiliary of Holy Trinity Church Little Current'. Many ads from the businesses that were in the area during the time that this book was compiled are found throughout.
