The stories in this book are the result of an International Year of Older Persons project known as "A Grandmother's Legacy" initiates by the Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario (FWIO). These legacies are nostalgic accounts that chronicle changes in people and places as these women experienced life in the 20th century. The voices that ring out from the pages are enhanced by period graphics and photographs.
