This book is the story of the Lincoln & Welland Regiment from its earliest days to the end of the Second World War, a period of 150 years. It is also in effect a history of the counties of Lincoln and Welland, since the activities of the militia have always been very closely connected with those of the people of the various municipalities comprising the counties. This was especially true during the pioneer times and at least up to the beginning of the First World War.
This History is a source of pride to those of us who have served the Regiment, and it is our hope that our sons and the future generations may feel equally proud of it in the years to come.
Includes diagrams, maps, lists of casualties, and nominal roll of officers and men who served with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment between 26th August, 1939, and 29th January, 1946, and more.
