Description
Description
Not Even the Trees is a 1998 independent drama produced by action-film star Steven Seagal and Julius R. Nasso. The story follows a model whose life and career begin to fall apart as she becomes caught in drug addiction. Her close friend and former lover tries to help her find a way out before her choices cause even more damage.
Directed by Nacho Arenas, the film stars Ryan Alosio, Nicole Brier, Ashley Hamilton, Christopher Lawford, and Alicia Tully Jensen. Rather than the action films usually associated with Steven Seagal, this is a character-driven drama dealing with addiction, relationships, and second chances.
A lesser-known title from the late 1990s, Not Even the Trees is an interesting addition for collectors of independent cinema, unusual DVD releases, and Steven Seagal filmography completists looking for movies connected to his work behind the camera.
