Requiem for the Sun (The Symphony of Ages)

Three years have passed since Rhapsody, Achmed, and Grunthor survived the devastating battle that ended the original Rhapsody Trilogy. Peace has returned to their land, but it proves fragile when political chaos erupts in the south.

The death of a Dowager Empress and her successor throws an empire into turmoil, and war threatens to spread across the known world. As old alliances are tested and new dangers emerge, Rhapsody faces an even more personal threat.

An enemy she believed long dead returns, bringing with him a darkness she cannot ignore. Now pregnant, Rhapsody must confront a terrible choice that could cost her both her own life and that of her unborn child.

Requiem for the Sun continues Elizabeth Haydon’s sweeping Symphony of Ages saga with fantasy, prophecy, war, romance and adventure. A strong choice for readers who enjoy epic fantasy filled with memorable characters, danger and richly imagined worlds.
