The Super Sketchy (The Almost Epic Squad)

What if anything you drew could become real—even if drawing wasn’t exactly your strongest skill?

Super Sketchy by Lesley Livingston is a funny, fast-paced middle-grade adventure and part of The Almost Epic Squad series, with illustrations by Britt Wilson.

Daisy Kildare is the new kid at school and would sometimes rather be anywhere else. Then she discovers a mysterious pencil that gives her an incredible power: she can transform into whatever she draws. Unfortunately, Daisy’s artistic skills don’t always match her imagination.

Soon she learns that she and three other children were exposed at birth to a strange element called reidium—and powerful forces have been watching them ever since. When Daisy is pulled into an epic battle against the villainous Boss and Dr. Bafflegab, she’ll need creativity, courage, and plenty of quick thinking to save the day.
