Description

With Wolfe in Canada; or, The Winning of a Continent by G. A. Henty is a vintage historical adventure novel set during the struggle between Britain and France for control of Canada. This copy is a Blackie & Son Ltd. reprint, likely published between about 1910 and the early 1930s. Since the title page states “Blackie and Son Limited” and does not show a publication date, it is not the 1890 first edition.

Henty’s story follows young characters caught up in the drama of military conflict, colonial rivalry, frontier danger, and the campaign associated with General James Wolfe and the Battle of Quebec. Like many of Henty’s books, it blends adventure with historical events, making it appealing to readers of classic juvenile fiction and imperial-era historical novels.

A collectible choice for G. A. Henty fans, vintage adventure readers, Canadian history collectors, and Blackie & Son edition collectors.
